CTDC11 is a virtual congress organised by Malaysian Society of Toxicology (MySOT) (Society Reg. No.: PPM-001-14-12072010) (MYSOT) to promote 11th Congress of Toxicology in Developing Countries (CTDC11) (Programme). These terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) shall constitute an entire agreement between the participant (Participant) and MYSOT pursuant to Participant’s usage, access, use and provision of any information, data and/or other content through MYSOT’s registration online portal located at www.ctdc11.org (Website) in relation to the Programme
Details of the Programme:-
Date :13th June 2021 (only for participants that are registered for CEC1 or CEC2)
Time: 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
CEC1: Evolving International Methodologies and Tools for Chemical Risk Assessment
CEC2: Vaccine Development in the 21st Century
Date: 14th June 2021 to 16th June 2021 (only for participants that are registered for CTDC11)
Time: 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
CTDC11: 11th Congress of Toxicology in Developing Countries
The time above is referring to time in Malaysia (GMT +8)
There are four (4) categories of Participant who may participate in the Programme which are:-
1. Standard Delegate/Participant
2. MySOT Ordinary Members
3. MySOT Student Members
4. Presenter (Oral / Poster)

The Participant(s) hereby undertakes and covenants with MySOT to make full payment of the Registration Fees to MySOT during the online registration date made by the Participant through the Website.
An invoice will be issued by MySOT to the Participant(s) on the date the Registration Fees are successfully made to MYSOT’s designated bank account. Once issued, the invoice and the tickets are deemed to be final. All successful payments are not refundable. Request for refunds of any payment and exchange of tickets will not be entertained. The tickets are required to participate in the CTDC / CEC1 / CEC via online.
In the event the Participant is unable to attend the Programme, the Participant may request MYSOT to assign the registration to another party by sending an email to secretary@ctdc11.org seven (7) working days prior to the Programme. However, the final approval for the transfer of registration will be at the sole discretion of MYSOT.
(The Participant hereby undertakes and covenants with MYSOT to make full payment for the Registration Fees to MYSOT from the registration date made by MYSOT through the Website (Payment Period). For clarifications purposes, in the event the Participant fails and/or unable to pay the Registration Fees within the Payment Period, MYSOT shall reject registration made by the Participant earlier and the Participant is required to reregister again through the Website.) Note to Ee Ling – this paragraph is rather confusing. Not sure what they mean to say.
If the Programme is cancelled due to the occurrence of events as set out in the Force Majeure Clause, MYSOT reserves its rights to postpone the Programme to any other dates, to be notified by MYSOT in writing (New Programme Date). Further, the Parties agree that any payments which have been made by the Participant prior to such postponement shall be utilised and/or carried forward to the New Programme Date. For the avoidance of doubt, the other provisions in this Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force, valid and binding on the Participants and MYSOT.
By registering and participating in the Programme, the Participant hereby agrees that MYSOT, including but not limited to its employee, agent or representative, may collect, store, process and use the Participant’s personal data provided by the Participant to MYSOT in relation to this Programme including but not limited to the Participant’s name, address, telephone number, national registration identification card number and email address (Personal Data) in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) for the purpose it was collected, which among others are to provide information to the Participant in regards to MYSOT's programmes and other offers and/or promotions that MYSOT believes may interest the Participant and also for advertising, trade and/or publicity purpose.
The Participant gives consent to MYSOT to disclose the Participant’s Personal Data to the relevant governmental authorities or third parties where required by law or for legal purposes. In addition, the Participant understands that MYSOT may also be disclosing the Participant’s Personal Data to any third parties whether sited in Malaysia or outside of Malaysia for one or more of the above-stated purposes in accordance to the PDPA.
The Participant represents and warrants to MYSOT that:-
(a) the Participant is an organization or company duly incorporated and validly existing under the laws of Malaysia or other (for organization and company); and
(b) the Participant is an individual of full age, and of sound mind and is fully capable of understanding the nature of his/her participation in the Programme (for individuals); and
(c) all information furnished by the Participant in connection with the Programme is correct, true and accurate; and
(d) the information provided pursuant to paragraph (b) above shall be used for
MYSOT’s conference participant collateral (if any). MYSOT shall not share such information with any third party without prior consent from the Participant.
The Participant hereby agrees and acknowledges that any attempt to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Programme is a violation of criminal and civil laws and MYSOT reserves the absolute rights to seek damages from those making such attempts to the fullest extent permitted by laws.
These Terms and Conditions and all matters relating to Participant’s access or usage of the Website including but not limited to matters relating to the Programme shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. The Participant and MYSOT hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia in respect of any claim or proceeding arising from this Terms and Condition and the Programme and to obey any order or judgment of the courts in respect of such claim or proceedings.
MYSOT, including but not limited to its employee, agent or representative, are not responsible for:-
(a) late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed e-mails or other communications; or
(b) errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices or transmission lines; or data corruption, theft, destruction, loss, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials; or
(c) electronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind or insufficient space in Participant's e-mail account to receive e-mail messages; or
(d) Each Participant by participating in the Programme, agrees on Participant’s behalf (and on behalf of Participant's heirs, assignees, executors and administrators) to release, discharge, indemnify and hold MYSOT, including but not limited to its employee, agent or representative, harmless from and against any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind, to persons, or property, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from Participant's participation in the Programme.
Neither Party will be in breach of this Agreement if there is any total or partial failure of performance by a Party of its duties or obligations under this Agreement occasioned by a cause or causes beyond the reasonable control and without fault and negligence of such Party. Such causes shall include but not limited to earthquakes, storms, acts of war, acts of public enemies, terrorism, revolution, epidemics and pandemics disease, acts of god, riot, fire, explosion, accident, flood or sabotage, governmental intervention, change in laws strike, dissolution of parliament, election, lockouts or injunction.
The Website may provide links to other websites and vice versa merely for Participant’s convenience and information. MYSOT shall neither be responsible for the content and availability of such other websites that may be operated and controlled by any third party nor for the information, products or services contained on or accessible through those websites. The Participant’s access and use of such websites remain solely at the Participant’s own risk. MYSOT shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential losses and/or damages of whatsoever kind arising out of the Participant’s access to such websites.
MYSOT reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this Programme, if any virus, bug, tampering, technical failure, unauthorized human intervention or other cause outside of MYSOT's control corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Programme. In the event of any such modification, cancellation, termination or suspension, a notice of such action will be posted on the Website, if functioning and MYSOT shall not be liable to the Participant on such modification, cancellation, termination or suspension.
MYSOT reserves the right to vary and/or amend the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to the Participant whereby such variations and amendments will be posted on the Website if functioning.
